Gègāc Ji̊ Qi̊v (/gɛg/ /əˑc/ [thought] [last (final); last (previous)]) is a subtropical Large City located in the Ftiyāobāt Region of the Tetburland.

The name Gègāc Ji̊ Qi̊v is derived from the Goblin language, as Gègāc Ji̊ Qi̊v was founded by Khëîd, who was culturaly Tauran.

Climate

Gègāc Ji̊ Qi̊v has a yearly average temperature of 29°C (84°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 32°C (89°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 26°C (78°F). Gègāc Ji̊ Qi̊v receives an average of 239 cm/y (94 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Overview

Gègāc Ji̊ Qi̊v was founded durring the late 11th century, by Khëîd. The establishment of Gègāc Ji̊ Qi̊v was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Khëîd electing to pay people to resettle in Gègāc Ji̊ Qi̊v.

Gègāc Ji̊ Qi̊v was built using the conventions of Tauran durring the late 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Gègāc Ji̊ Qi̊v is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Gègāc Ji̊ Qi̊v is buildings folow an organic layout of broad worn bedrock streets whihch gives the city a shape simmilar to a tree, if one views its streets from above. The city has a defencive wall made from large clay bricks. The wall is constructed to the exact specifications of millitary fortifications, but the nature of its clay brick construction leaves it vulnerable to even outdated siege equipment. That said, the city is well defended against anything short of an army. The brittle defences has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.

Gègāc Ji̊ Qi̊v has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Gègāc Ji̊ Qi̊v’s streets.

They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Gègāc Ji̊ Qi̊v's natural decorations nor waterways.

Cultural Notes

Life is hard in Gègāc Ji̊ Qi̊v. Its people are impoverished compared to their peers elsewhere. Something is making the locals stay, however, whether fear of the alternative, hope for a better future, or a stubborn attachment to their ancestral lands. Whatver the reason, living in this harsh area for generations has made the people of Gègāc Ji̊ Qi̊v a notably resourceful and hearty people.

Gègāc Ji̊ Qi̊v's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used which employed abundant symbolic geometry, using pure forms such as the circle and square, and plans are based on often symmetrical layouts featuring rectangular courtyards and halls. These structures were is decorated with carved stone or stucco reliefs and made use of colorful stone mosaics..

In Gègāc Ji̊ Qi̊v during thunderstorms, with each flash of lightning, everyone sees different monsters from the corner of their eyes.
